Storytelling Intensive

1–3 day review and guidance for teams preparing to pitch partners, fundraise, or announce something new

When the stakes are high, the story matters. A fundraising deck, partnership pitch, major announcement, or launch narrative often determines whether the work lands—or falls flat.

The Storytelling Intensive is built for teams that need fast, senior-level feedback on important materials before they go public, go to market, or go into the room. I review the story, structure, messaging, and ask; identify what is working and what is not; and help shape the materials into something clearer, stronger, and more persuasive.

Best for

  • Teams preparing to pitch partners, funders, sponsors, or stakeholders
  • Founders or leaders announcing something new
  • Organizations that need sharper narrative before a public-facing moment
  • Projects where the materials exist, but the story is not fully landing yet

What I help with

  • Deck and pitch review
  • Messaging and narrative structure
  • Partner, sponsor, or fundraising materials
  • Frame a launch or announcement
  • Tighten the ask, flow, and language
  • Identify what is missing before materials go out

What this unlocks

  • Stronger materials for high-stakes conversations
  • Clearer story, structure, and positioning
  • More confidence going into fundraising, partner, or launch moments
  • Sharper external-facing materials without a longer engagement

Case Study: Female Founders Fund

Impact highlights

  • Developed a strategy for scaling a 10-episode season of The Two Percent celebrating a decade of FFF
  • Conducted an original benchmark study of 29 VC podcasts, finding that only 21.6% of guests were women
  • Identified channel expansion opportunities across YouTube, LinkedIn, and short-form clips with a potential 3–10x viewership upside
  • Built recommendations around production quality, platform strategy, discoverability, and repurposing for a high-value audience of founders, operators, and investors

Only two percent of VC funds goes to female founded companies. Female Founders Fund is on a mission to shift that number by investing in female founded companies and producing The Two Percent, a podcast that elevates the stories of female founders.

For season seven, I developed a strategic storytelling and growth plan for the podcast. The goal was not just to produce another season, but to clarify the story, sharpen the audience strategy, and identify how the show could expand into a more valuable multi-channel platform.

To do that, I paired editorial thinking with original research. I framed the season around “The Second Act,” or bold pivots, transitions, and purpose-led evolutions that happen after a founder’s first big win. I then built a set of recommendations for how FFF could scale the podcast across YouTube, LinkedIn, and clip-based distribution. I also conducted a benchmark study of 29 VC podcasts, which showed that only 21.6% of guests were women, reinforcing the strategic importance of building stronger platforms for female founders.

Recommendations included improving production quality, always publishing to YouTube for automatic transcripts, expanding into evergreen LinkedIn content, testing a video or hybrid format, creating consistent short-form clips, and pursuing cross-promotion with aligned VC podcasts.

An ideal client usually looks like:

  • A founder, leader, or team preparing for an important external moment
